Description
Good adhesion of your printed parts on the print bed is a must in 3D printing! DimaFix is now available so that your object remains fixed during the printing process and avoid deformation. DimaFix is an aerosol spray adhesive for 3D printers with a heated print bed that prevents warping of large objects.
Dimafix provides a strong bond between the first layer and the build surface when the bed is heated above 60 ° C. Below 60 ° C DimaFix is ineffective, so prints can be easily removed from the building board. The adhesive spray is completely water-soluble, so cleaning the construction panel is a simple process.
Different print bed temperatures lead to different degrees of adhesion:
Below 60 ° C: No adhesion, the objects can be detached from the plate
60 - 75 ºC: Medium adhesion for simple geometries
75 - 95 ºC: High adhesion for complex geometries and long prints
Above 95 ºC: Very high adhesion, for very complex geometries and very long prints
How to use DimaFix
- Clean the build plate of your 3D printer
- Check if the print bed temperature is below 50 ° C
- Spray DimaFix on your print bed (use a well-ventilated room)
- Warm up your print bed and start printing
- After printing, wait for the print bed to cool
- Remove the printed item from the print bed

Not great adhesion
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
I have been busy trying to get this product to stick down a PLA project and have had very little success. Followed the instructions, used blue tape etc. Wasted 4 days of work because of it. I tried another product and that worked great.

Review written by John
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Highly recommended! Was having problems with ABS prints picking up staining from the Robox print bed, but a coating of this and some 600 grade wet and dry sanding every few prints sorted the problem. Prints are flatter too, with no warping

It doesn't stick
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
I would use it for ASA material. I've heated the print bed at 105 °C, but the filament haven't stick at all.

Works great
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Works great, makes a robust PEI surface extremely reliable for most any plastic. Doesn't leave any visual residue on the printed parts.
