Description
Spectrum PLA MATTE is a PLA-based material with a modified chemical composition. The matte surface of models significantly improves their aesthetic properties, thereby minimizing the visibility of layers on the faces of printed models. The material is particularly easy to print and has low shrinkage and very good adhesion between the layers. Furthermore, the use of additives has improved the impact resistance and reduced the brittleness of models.
Due to the change in the chemical composition of Spectrum PLA MATTE, you can make models with the following properties:
- Improved mechanical strength properties in terms of impact strength, resilience and durability
- A high-quality matte surface
- Improved adhesion between the layers

Looks Fab. But isn't very strong and can be stringy.

This material prints larger objects beautifully, the matte surface finish can almost completely eliminate layer lines.
Unfortunately its not that strong. It definitely doesn't have

I also find that i get a fair bit more stringing with this material. maybe i just haven't tuned it enough.
Despite the questionable strength and stringing, I would highly recommend this for nice aesthetical prints. and parts that don't have to be crazy strong.
