Description
Spectrum PLA MATTE is a PLA-based material with a modified chemical composition. The matte surface of models significantly improves their aesthetic properties, thereby minimizing the visibility of layers on the faces of printed models. The material is particularly easy to print and has low shrinkage and very good adhesion between the layers. Furthermore, the use of additives has improved the impact resistance and reduced the brittleness of models.
Due to the change in the chemical composition of Spectrum PLA MATTE, you can make models with the following properties:
- Improved mechanical strength properties in terms of impact strength, resilience and durability
- A high-quality matte surface
- Improved adhesion between the layers

bittersweet feelings
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
I like this filament because is very resistant to impact and quite resistant to bend. The adhesion of layers is perfect. The color is true matte black and when you print a some object, the visual apparence is professional. But, also I have to say that filament not is for novice. The reasons are that if you intend to print things with a lot of detail, this filament makes it quite difficult, The density is high and makes many more threads compared to standard PLA. So I can print perfectly.. Printing with Artillery X1 v4 with upgrades...I needed spend several hours of tests, about analysing the temperatures and the retractions. If you don't make the hot bed underneath of 60º celsius with 3dlac the warpping effect it is easy to appear. My perfect combination with this filament is extruder at 220º C and the hot bed at 70º with 3d lac. The factory specifications are different...
For everything else, once I control the filament I love it.Was this rating helpful? (3) (0)

overpriced bought it by mistake but i keep it to give it a try
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
it prints more than ok without any issues the fillament likes more high temparatures but color is not deep black is exactly the same as extrudr NX2 with a surface finish more like (woody).
when the print temperature is above 220 then gets darker with exchange to more porous surface.
the mechanical properties and thermal resistance is the best i came across for a matte filament it behaves like petg and it bonds strong (again the hotter is better)
conclusion .it does nt offer anything unique to be in the 30 euros/kgm range recreus which is true deep black or nx2 which is same black is way better deal
