E3D Revo Roto Extruder, Sensored

The Revo Roto is another all-in-one extruder from E3D's RapidChange Revo family. The extruder combines low weight with excellent performance and exceptional thermal efficiency.

Feather-light construction

The Revo Roto is characterised by its unbeatably low weight: While the standard version only weighs 140 g and the sensored version weighs 146 g, the Bowden version weighs only 137 g! Even when combined with an 18g Revo Hotside, the featherlight construction is only half the weight of a single Nema 17 motor.

Powerful planetary gearbox

The rotary gearbox consists of a planetary initial stage, followed by a spur gear secondary stage and a third double Hobb stage. A gear ratio of 11.262:1 creates a powerful extrusion force of 70 N+, allowing the maximum volumetric flow rates of Revo High Flow nozzles to be fully exploited.

3D printed heatsink

In developing the Revo Roto heatsink, E3D reached an important milestone by designing the most thermally effective heatsink ever. The metal heatsink is 3D printed, which allows many optimisations to be made to its design. In order to create a slim shape, it has minimised wall thicknesses and skeletonised surfaces.

User-friendly and maintenance-minded

With the Revo Roto, user-friendliness comes first:

• To remove the heatsink and filament path, you only need to remove three screws without having to dismantle the housing.
• To simplify filament loading and cold pulling, a mechanism has been developed that either provides the optimal tension or completely removes it as needed.
• The nozzle and filament can be changed with one hand.

Revo Roto Sensored

With the Revo Roto Sensored variant you have even more power and flexibility at your disposal. For example, you always have an overview of the filament, fan speed and heatsink temperature. With remote monitoring and easy maintenance, you can optimise your workflow and simplify or accelerate your 3D printing processes.

Danger! The included 5V fan cannot be connected directly to a 12/24V control board output. For this, you need a 5V regulator board.
