E3D Revo Roto Extruder MK3 Edition

The Revo Roto Prusa MK3 Edition is an all-in-one extruder from the E3D RapidChange Revo family, specifically designed for use with a Prusa MK3. The extruder combines low weight with excellent performance and exceptional thermal efficiency.

Feather-light construction

The Revo Roto is characterised by its unbeatable low weight: at just 146 g, the construction is light as a feather.

Powerful planetary gear

The extruder's rotary gearing consists of a planetary initial stage, followed by a spur gear secondary stage and a third dual hobb stage. With a gear ratio of 11.262:1, this creates a powerful extrusion force of 70 N+, allowing the maximum volumetric flow rates of Revo High Flow nozzles to be fully exploited.

User-friendly and maintenance-friendly

With the Revo Roto, user-friendliness is the top priority:

• To remove the heatsink and filament path, only three screws need to be removed without having to dismantle the housing.
• To simplify filament loading and cold pulling, a mechanism was developed that either provides the optimal tension or removes it completely as needed.

3D printed heatsink

When developing the Revo Roto, E3D reached an important milestone in the form of the most thermally effective heatsink ever. The metal heatsink is 3D printed and its design is optimised in many ways. Effective heat conduction reduces heat build-up and prevents gradual heating. At the same time, the air is directed through the air break to interrupt the heat radiation coming from the hot side.

Matching HotSide kit

Combine your Revo Roto extruder with a suitable HotSide combo to get the most out of your machine. Each of the HotSide packages comes with the necessary heating and sensor elements as well as wear-resistant nozzles so that you can start printing as quickly as possible.

Choose between:

• Starter – for users who print PLA, PETG and ASA at standard speeds,
• High Flow – for users who want to push the printing speed of their Prusa printer to the limit,
• High Flow X – combines the benefits of the High Flow Pack with the abrasion resistance for printing with fibre-filled materials

Tip: An E3D Roto Filament Sensor is not included in the delivery as it is only compatible with the Prusa MK3S or newer versions. You can purchase the sensor separately.

Warning: Remember that you may damage your Roto Motor if you do not change the start G-code.
