Big, bigger, Antonov. With a length of 84 meters, the An-225 is not only the largest aircraft in the world, but also the only one with six engines. Originally developed for the transport of the Soviet Buran space shuttle, the only machine of this type now flies the heaviest loads around the world. It currently holds both the record for the highest total freight transported by air (247 tons) and the heaviest single piece of freight (190 tons).
