Hi team, I have an Elegoo Mars 4 Max; none of the plates here have the exact size as the platform. Can they safely be trimmed to size and used as normal?

When levelling printing surface on Elgoo Neptune2 with plate and magnetic base installed, rear left quadrant will not lower enough to give any nozzle clearance... help??!!

  Resetting the z-Axis has solved the problem
I have CR10 S4 & bed is a little warped (low in middle) which is why I use aluminium tape to build it up then 3mm mirror on top. Could I put this PEI sheet directly on bed & tape ?

  Yes that shouldn't be a problem. Although, just so you know this isn't a PEI sheet.
Hi. The two worries I have is that 1) the heat from the bed won’t reach through the plate and 2) the adhesive may give off toxic fumes when heated. Any help?

  As long as the surface is placed directly on the metal heated bed and not a glass or other surface then enough heat will get through.The surface is suitable up to temperatures of 80C, not because it gives off toxic fumes but because it just can't manage adequate adhesion at those temperatures.
Could you use this on a zortrax M300, if you bought a larger size and cut it to fit?

  Not an exact fit but these can be cut to size with a strong scissors - the Ender 6 has a 290x290 build plate area so you can get a larger one and cut it to size. The CR-10 version is 310x310mm so it would be the closest fit.
will I have to cut holes in magnetic plate to access screws which hold printbed to runners? Is that OK, easy, safe?

  It is possible to do that without any issues but it is probably unnecessary as most adjustments would only need to be done via attachments beneath the bed.

  Thanks for the reply Andrew, I have a CR10S5 with a lot of bolt heads on the heated bed so it would have to be done (or I'd never be able to remove the bed or check tightness!)

  Hi Mark, it should be ok. It will be a little less supported in those areas of course but if you only make the holes as big as necessary you won't run into any problems. The bed fits the plate perfectly so you can simply measure out the places where the holes will be and I recommend using a punch or gouger to do this. The bed can be cut relatively easily but because the holes are so small, using another tool might be a bit messy.
