Description
Formfutura's STYX PA6-GF30 is a technical filament that combines the advantages of STYX PA6 with 30% glass fibres. This combination not only creates excellent compressive strength but also unique rigidity. Thanks to a low shrinkage factor and perfect layer adhesion, the filament is very easy to print. The material is chemical-resistant and heat-resistant up to 180 °C and has high wear, tear and abrasion resistance.
Tip: STYX PA6-GF30 is an extremely hygroscopic material. Therefore, the manufacturer recommends drying it before use. Using it in printers with an open build space is not recommended.
Areas of application:
- In the automotive industry for the production of various parts,
- For the production of connectors, switches, housings for electronic devices,
