Description

eSUN PA12+CF is a material with a matte surface based on PA12 and reinforced with 15% carbon fibre. This combination significantly improves the strength, stiffness and toughness of nylon and makes it a viable substitute for metal parts in many applications.

The material has a low water absorption rate, therefore the size of the printed parts is less affected by humidity and temperature. It is self-lubricating and has high abrasion resistance, which makes it particularly suitable for printing gears.

The high temperature resistance is another outstanding feature of PA12+CF. Parts printed with this material can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 120°C. It can even withstand shorter periods of temperatures of up to 160°C. Thanks to its low shrinkage rate, printing with this material is easy as warping and cracking are minimised.
