Description
One nozzle for all requirements!
The Nozzle X is a "one to rule them all" solution, which was made from a special alloy made of structural steel. The nozzle is immensely hard, which maintains its hardness even at high temperatures without softening. The nozzle is coated with a hard and smooth layer of nickel to offer a fantastic balance between cost and wear resistance. The new polyphobic nano-coating no longer allows molten polymers to adhere to the nozzle!
The Nozzle X is the perfect combination of high-temperature resistance and wear resistance. By using a one-piece, completely machined construction, a carefully coordinated inner geometry was created that offers fantastic flow behaviour and has exactly the same geometry and compatibility as the rest of the E3D ecosystem.
Advantages of the WS2 polyphobic nano-coating:
- Less build-up on the nozzle cone
- Improved reliability of the first layer; The smooth coating has a reduced tendency to "pull" material.
- Smooth top layers with a glass-like finish due to the smooth material application
- Clean with a non-abrasive rag/cloth: A non-abrasive rag or cloth can be used to clean the exterior of the Nozzle X to remove any plastic residue that may have formed. Note: Paper towels are abrasive enough to damage the special coating.

Prusa i3
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Got this to replace stock nozzle, had to adjust pinda height after fitting. Prints fine and not really had to up the nozzle temperature as some are saying. Not used on any abrasive filaments yet but looking to get some glitter filament soon. It has reduced stringing on the tricolour filaments I have so that's a bonus. For the price I am happy so far but was disappointed my Nozzle X turned up in a plastic sealed bag, I would have like a nice box for that price.

These things simply last forever, just put them in, set them up correctly and forget about changing nozzles, simple.

Great nozzle
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Love it so far. I think I need to increase my temperature on a few filaments but apart from that it’s been great.

The Nozzle X is steel at its core, so has lower thermal conductivity than regular brass and would require higher than average temperatures for PLA. 205-210 would be adequate for most PLA varieties.
