Description
Hard to beat in terms of elegance and robustness: The K1C from Creality is a powerful high-speed 3D printer that is specially designed for printing with carbon fibre-reinforced materials. The printer combines ultra-high speeds and robust construction with smart functions to achieve the highest quality standards. With a build volume of 220 x 220 x 250 mm and a max. printing speed of 600 mm/s, the K1C takes your 3D printing to a new level.
Features at a glance:
- Robust unibody frame made of die-cast aluminium alloy, transparent glass sides and acrylic lid,
- All-metal direct drive extruder system with clogging-free design,
- Dynamic CoreXY structure for a max. printing speed of 600 mm/s and a max. acceleration of 20,000 mm/s²,
- Quick-swap, tri-metal "unicorn" nozzle and titanium alloy heatbreak,
- Triple cooling with hotend fan, part cooling fan and an additional fan on the side of the chamber,
- 300°C hotend combined with a hardened steel nozzle tip, flexible PEI build plate and closed chamber design for optimal printing with carbon fibre reinforced materials,
- Built-in AI camera for time-lapse recordings and video surveillance with spaghetti detection and foreign body detection,
- Open source Creality OS, Creality Print and Creality Cloud for maximum flexibility,
- Flexible PEI spring steel plate,
- Hands-free automatic levelling,
- And much, much more!
Contemporary elegance combined with exceptional robustness
The K1C 's solid unibody frame consists of larger, robust parts manufactured using an integrated die-casting process. As a result, its individual frame sides merge seamlessly into one another and show barely visible connection points.
To compensate for the robust construction, the 3D printer is equipped with tinted glass sides and a transparent acrylic lid. This combination creates a thermal enclosure with the ability to see inside the chamber at any time.
All-metal extruder for firm filament grip
The K1C 's all-metal extruder system comes in a clog-free design. The extruder is equipped with a support spring and a ball piston and keeps a firm grip on the filament without giving way.
Ultra-fast and agile
Like the K1, the K1C features a lightweight and dynamic CoreXY structure designed for ultra-high speeds while maintaining print quality.
- Max. speed 600 mm/s
- Standard speed 300 mm/s
- Max. acceleration 20000 mm/s²
Quick-swap, tri-metal “ unicorn” nozzle
The K1C is equipped with a durable copper nozzle with a steel tip and a titanium alloy heatbreak. The nozzle can be easily replaced.
Danger! Allow the nozzle to cool before touching it with your hand.
Triple cooling for improved print quality
► Hotend fan for minimal heat creep
The hotend fan means that hardly any heat comes from the hotend to the extruder. This will prevent the filament from melting too early.
► Part cooling fan for instant hardening
A strong blast of air hardens the freshly printed layers via a special air duct. This results in better layer bonding and a nicer layer texture.
► Additional fan for overall better print quality
An additional fan on the side of the chamber supports cooling of the model. This additional fan can minimise warping and stringing on bridges and overhangs.
The weight of the printhead fan is also dynamically balanced, making it less likely to wobble or cause ringing or ghosting.
Carbon fibre printing made easy
Due to its specific properties, the K1C can easily process filaments with carbon fibres:
⇒ 300°C hotend combined with a hardened steel nozzle tip is well suited for high-temperature and wear-resistant CF filaments,
⇒ Flexible PEI build plate offers excellent adhesion to various materials and allows printed 3D models to be easily removed by gently bending,
⇒ Closed chamber design creates a constant high-temperature environment to produce stronger prints.
Material-independent printing for versatile applications
The K1C is suitable for printing with PLA, ASA, ABS or TPU to make toys, props, storage boxes, ornaments, etc. to create.
In addition to standard materials, the K1C can also use filaments with carbon fibres such as PLA-CF or PET-CF to print mechanically strong parts that are resistant to wear, deformation and ageing. In industrial printing, it can be used for various devices and prototypes with amazing mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
Built-in AI camera for a better overview
The built-in AI camera monitors the printing process and warns you if errors occur. Features included: spaghetti detection, foreign body detection, time-lapse recording, video surveillance.
Open source Creality OS, Creality Print and Creality Cloud
Creality OS is based on Klipper and has advanced features such as Linear Advance and Input Shaping.
Creality Print also has a lot to offer: functions such as Smart Cooling, Optimal Retraction, Slim Supports and the management of a 3D printer farm not only make the printing process easier but also take user-friendliness to a new level. The slicer also has an easily accessible 3D model library built in.
Creality Cloud is a versatile all-in-one 3D printing platform where you can interact and share with other 3D printing enthusiasts.
Other features:
- Plug and play with boot-up instructions like a new smartphone (3 minutes from unboxing to turning on),
- Highly automated and easy to use,
- One-tap automatic calibration (auto Z offset, auto levelling, auto input shaping test),
- Carbon filter for cleaning compounds and particles from melted filaments,
- Quiet operation with ≤45 dB,
- Partial failure of the batch function,
- Pre-installed damping pads for less vibration,
- Silicone squeegee for the nozzle tip,
- Anti-shatter film on the glass,

IGo for the K1Max instead
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
This printer is not "CF-ready" out of the box, mayby for PLA-CF but not for ABS/PU . The printer is delivered with a PLA build plate that cannot withstand the temperatures that the printer is specced with.
Further as you can find info on online, the bowden tube has too sharp angles causing harder filaments to snap and/or underextrude. The tube kinked and had to be replaced on the third layer of my first build with the printer. I replaced the build plate, made risers for the top and routed the bowden tube in a better way and now the printer is OK.
K1Max is awesome, the K1C is "meh".
